The CCI of the RM is founded and operates on the basis of the Law on Chamber of Commerce and Industry no. 393-XIV of 13.05.1999, the legislation in force and its Charter. The CCI of the RM is a union of legal entities, non-governmental, apolitical, non-commercial, autonomous and independent organization that represents the interests of the entrepreneurs (business environment) of the Republic of Moldova, being a unique organization of this kind.
The Mediation Center is a mediation organization created by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and registered by the Ministry of Justice in September 2015.
Since 2012, the CCI of the RM is ISO 9001: 2008 certified and in 2017 it was one of the first organizations in the Republic of Moldova that successfully passed to the new version of ISO 9001: 2015 and confirmed the compliance of its services with the requirements of this international standard.
The Mediation Center uses the platform of 10 branches of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, being connected with the entire business environment across the whole country.
In November 2017, the Mediation Council of the Ministry of Justice of RM, through its Decision, accredited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova as a provider of training services for mediators.
Mediators of the Mediation Center are trained and certified both nationally by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, and internationally- by the Center for the Efficient Dispute Resolution (CEDR), United Kingdom.
Our mediators have participated in the pilot programs to promote mediation in national courts.
